Whenever you open a track file that contains several days of sailing (such as from a data logger), RealSpeed can now automatically split the results into different days based on local time. The original file is not affected. There is a global setting to turn this feature on or off. The split by date feature is also available from the menu.

To save one of the days as a separate file couldn't be easier, simply right click the single day track in RealSpeed and choose Save.

I have also improved the display when viewing multiple files at the same time.

You can download 1.922 from here:

Good one Mal,
but on the opposite tack, is there away to join to sessions together, ie, you've had a morning and afternoon session, and want to get a combined result for the team challenge. you can do them manually, but especially for the 5 X 10 sec it would be easier to join the files.
I can look at both of them together OK, but the 5 X 10 just gives the results of both sessions individually without getting the 5 best out of both tracks.
With the old .txt format it was easy in notepad, but that doesn't work with the new .sbn

Maybe, load them both to G7towin.exe and then save them as one file?

Stitching files together is an easy one in RealSpeed. First open the files you wish to join then right click the "Track Files" item in the tree view and select "Combine". Then save the combined file.

If the files are in the same folder you can simply multi-select the files to get them all in at the same time. If they are in separate folders, then open the first file as per normal, then all subsequent files can be "Imported" so that all the files are open at the same time.

Thanks Mal, for some reason I missed the "combine" button.
