Just got my copy, watched it and loved it....... Would have loved to have a seen more action from Big Sunday, but did give me great insight into why I am planning trip to Sandy Point next year..... time to a Brit down the course. lol

If there is any more footage of Big Sunday, i'd love to get my hands on it, seen everything posted...... but who knows maybe someone has some secret shots.....

Yes there is more footage but its not that great becaiusde the conditions for fulming were so poor, couldnt get down the run wihout ruining 10's of thousands of dollars worth of equip

you know what they say hardie, it doesnt have to be great it just has to be real.......

Big conditions thrill me and there havent really been any over here in such along time and like many of the sailors interviewed I too am returning to the water after a short sabbatical.... Speed has always been my passion and the PIT is the location that right now instills a desire to be there on that day.....

So I just want to learn the spot and see as much footage as possible....

There is actually very little, if any footage taken on big days at the top speed end of the course. Almost all I have seen is in the run up area. Simply because conditions are so harsh on both Camera gear and photographer (who has to trudge through soft sand for about 1.5km to get the shot).

I guess you have seen this one? Again in the run in area...

Just got my copy in the post yesterday (which i only ordered on sunday... thanks seabreeze ) and i was, sorry to say, a little disapointed. This is just my honest opinion and I mean no disrespect to all the people involved. I wont go into detail because i dont want to put a negative spin on the DVD because the people involved put alot of hard work and time into it.
Needless to say i do not regret the fact that i bought a copy

Hey K567 - don't have footage but some pics from THAT Sunday. Sailquick was right, it was extemely harsh on my gear and self - hence only top of the run shots. I have already completely trashed one camera in just 2 speed fortnights. Will be better prepared 'next' time and will sacrifice self to get the shot :)
Look forward to meeting you this year.

Lol yeah I love that footage especially where he nearly gets nailed by the flying rig at the bottom of the course lol..... Shows just how perfect the conditions can be... It's no surprise that the Aus teams get so much quality time on the water with venues like this.....

Awesome shots jodi, but it will be next year, there's no way I can make it this year, too many work commitments to plan this late.

"Yeh" Formula Nova - always pushing the boundaries!

Kato - I promise I wont swear (if only my foul language was not imortalised on film) and have learnt to freeze when you come past with 2 inches to spare. Hmmm, perhaps a crash helmut this year......

K567 - well I look forward to meeting you next year :)
