Hey Flip,
They're not really too waterproof so I dont carry a box of DVDs with me when I'm heading down to Inverloch (although maybe I should invest in an overcoat so I could sell bootlegs, cheap watches etc).
Your best best to get a copy would be via RPS or right here on seabreeze....

Yeah I couldn't get Kato..he had it written in his contract that I wasn't allowed to show his face and the only time I could film him was with his full face visor on.....I suspect he may have done that so he could use a body double!!!

Having watched it a couple of times now, it truly captures the essence of speedsailing, this is predominantly achieved through listening to people's passion and insights. If you are a speedsailor, or GPS sailor, this will speak to you! If you are a windsurfer, it will speak to you, and may even inspire you to try this aprt of the sport out.

Drift,

You had me at Ned's Atomic Dustbin and Died Pretty...have you been at my CD collection again? I tried (and failed) to stop myself from air-drumming to Grey Cells Green. Gen-Y work colleagues spectacularly unimpressed.

I love the feel of the teasers, and seeing some faces behind the avatars, talking with the same obsessive look I see in my friends when we talk sailing.

I've got to see this; order dispatched. Nows all left to do is to sit and intently stare at my mailbox with one eye, and the other on the treetops outside....

Yeah, but give us fair warning so that we can avoid walking on the footpaths. It would make the centre of the road one of the safer places to be a pedestrian.

Kato Quotes

ATTENTION speed sailors!

Kato- Some say he naturally faces magnetic north, and that all of his legs are hydraulic... all we know is, he's called Kato

kato- Some say that his politics are terrifying, and that he once punched a horse to the ground... all we know is, he's called Kato.

Kato- Some say he's wanted by the CIA, and that he sleeps upside down like a bat... all we know is, he's called Kato.

Kato- Some say his skin has the texture of a dolphin's, and that wherever you are in the world, if you tune your radio to 88.4, you can actually hear his thoughts... all we know is, he's called Kato.

Kato- Some say he never blinks, and that he roams around the woods at night foraging for dingo's... all we know is, he's called Kato.

Kato- Some say that his tears are adhesive, and that if he caught fire, he'd burn for a thousand days... all we know is, he's called Kato.

Kato- Some say that his genitals are on upside down, and that if he could be bothered, he could crack the Da Vinci Code in 43 seconds... all we know is, he's called Kato.

Kato- He appears to have started listening to Morse code. Very strange, or maybe it's him making that noise.

Kato [speaking in Morse code]: I LOVE THE PIT

kato- Some say that he lives in a tree, and that his sweat can be used to clean precious metals... all we know is, he's called Kato.

Kato- Some say that he appears on high value stamps in Western OZ, and that he can catch fish with his tongue... we know him only, as Kato.

Kato- Some say that on really warm days, he sheds his skin like a snake, and that for some reason, he's allergic to the Dutch... all we know is, he's called Kato

Kato- Some say that he has no understanding of clouds, and that his ear wax tastes like Turkish delight... all we know is, he's called Kato.

Kato- Some say that after making love, he bites the head off his partner. And that he's had to give up binge drinking now that it's gone to $1.50 a litre. All we know is, he's called Kato.

Kato- Some say his droppings have been found as far north as Melbourne. And that he has a full size tattoo of his face, on his face. All we know is, he's called Kato!

Kato- Some say that his heart ticks like a watch, and that he's confused by stairs... all we know is, he's called Kato.

i have never met the man but he does sound interesting!

Our good buddy Drift could not interview him because he is the stig! And when you fellas from the other states, come to visit us next time, and you see kato, go up to him and say ''your the stig'' can i have your autograph??

Hey Trousers,
Glad you liked the previews and whilst I didn't raid your collection, I certainly must comment on your fine taste in tunes!!!....Unfortunately, due to the money grabbing d$ckwads some would call Music Agents, I wasn't able to get the rights for either of those two tracks in the final DVD. It's kinda bizarre that the people who manage music like this put such a premium on the use of the song that they price themselves out of the market. In this case, a well known international publishing company (which might rhyme with "Pony") was asking 12.5k for use of one of those tracks...even though it had no commercial life and had been off the air for over 10 years!! I could take a band into a studio and record an album for that price....

See young Andrew Rexy. Apart from being a media star he is also a member of a band. Heard some of their music (on the 10 hour drive to the Pit) and its good stuff.
He will probably charge more than "Pony" though

No worries Drift. You may have to wait a few weeks as the current copy is in Hong Kong/Hurstville being 'backed up'.

I have another copy recently filmed in Melbourne, but it has interruptions all the way through of people standing up and walking out of the cinema
