Laurie, just put an ad for the DVD up as a banner. It seems to work. Right now I am wanting to buy an Apple TV. I am not sure I need one, but the more I look at Seabreeze, the more I seem to want one...
I am even now thinking I need a new yamaha outboard, and I don't even own a boat!

I ordered my copy today as well. Made it to the Speed Fortnight in 2008 and loved it.
Does that inspire you 'Formula Nova' to actually get on the water this year? 
There are a few out takes (apologies for my language people) and heaps of extras - unused footage and interviews and stacks of photos which feature the location and some of the "personalities"....

In the movie there is a great comment from Spotty about how difficult it was just to hold the board and sail steady to get started. What many might not realize is that he is behind the sand dune at that point where the wind was about 15-20 knots less!!!!
I managed to get started there, but when I bailed out at the end of the run, there was no way I could lift the 4.4m sail into the water start position without being thrashed and trashed! I drifted downwind bobbing and swallowing wind spray and fighting the rig until I was nearly exhausted. I finally managed to half drag and half sail myself back to the bank. That was the deciding factor in the end why I didn't try a third run....

Mate, I would not like to promise any more (look what happened last year!) but you would be very unlucky not to get a few days of 20-30 knots, even if the wind direction is not ideal. I can't remember a speed fortnight when this was not the case....
Any way it goes, it will be great fun!
