Just flicked onto community TV to find Tom Burlinsons board being eaten by a Noahs ark on the movie Wind Rider.

Looked up the details of the movie on IMDB and low and behold Mr Dans makes an appearance in the Credits

I got a job working in the art department on the movie - late in 1985 I think. There were a few other west aussie guys in the movie including Dave Sheen who was the windsurfing/stunt double for Tom B and Kim Bullard who had the plumb role as the evil dude Coyote and quite a few others who were extras!
I had to get all the 'stunt' boards built - like a board with a steel bar built into the nose so that it smashed straight through the windscreen of a car and a board that could be pulled underwater and then pop to the surface when PC Simpson drove his car off a bridge etc etc. It was a hoot - had to rig up and unrig the gear for Tom on occasion - got to see Nicole in some skimpy gear on one of the sets when she was just a young-un!![}:)]

Nice one Peter! I loved the film at the time (14 years old and just started windsurfing), but it was Nicole's nice buns and the back loops that got me going ...it's a pretty crap film really. There's a clip on Youtube.
