I guess you could say sailing into the leeward bank at 50kn indicated a lack of control but it may not be the boards fault. Martin turned up in full on conditions. The others had a week of moderate conditions to get used to the narrow track.
A 48kn 500m with a 51kn 2sec ain't bad for a guy getting close to 50 years old who never was a top level PBA/PWA sailor like Anders.
