I see on GPSSS that Farrell O'shea has the month's best speed on a Moo custom.

What the hell is that? And why didn't he use his CA 40?

Well thanks to the web and google you can see what they look like.

Hmmmm.... is it just me who thinks it looks like he repainted/renamed his CA 40 with cows after having a nose ding fixed?

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery (and I suspect a breach of the copyright laws too)

One positive though is that leaders in their field (like CA) are always at least one step ahead of their imitators.

BTW - what flavour was the ice-cream that was once wrapped around this paddle-pop stick?

hard to tell from the pics but it looks similar...i guess imitation is the greatest form of flattery?

There is no visible plug in the photo and there is only one part of the board you can't see...behind rear strap right of centre..just where CA alone puts them.
The fin box also has the rearstrap insert fastening a la CA.

I rest my case.
