Thanks for that what a great vid I still remember fred saying he went so fast his hair fell out. You put a smile on my face when I saw this

I must have watched Fast Forward 100 times back in the day. Started windsurfing the year before. I think the VHS tapes are in a box in Mum & Dad's garage.

Interesting what Haywood says towards the end about "drag racing" and informal speed competition. It's almost as if he's predicting GPS Speedsailing, but doesn't quite know how it will happen. He wants it and sees it's potential but the technology was missing.

OK while we're at it here's where windsurfing speed sailing really started to happen - the Crossbow Killers!

Pascal Maka 38.86knots. If you want to skip the slalom go to 20 minutes. Jolly good show ol' chaps!
