I'm having some strange gps episodes lately, last session, GT31 speed genie displayed 0.something knots for max speed and 10s, after a stacked gybe submerge.
Today, Wazza's GT31 expired after 20min on what should have been a fully charged battery, so he borrowed my old GT11. That didn't record to card, so I downloaded the data logger, and found 16 of these identical records in it, only difference is the No at the front, starts at 27291 finishes at 27306
Date, Sun Apr 01 08:04:05 WST 2085. Longitude,-0.0000001. Latitude, -0.0000001. distance, 14,866.228 Km. distance, length, time, otho.m/s, Linear, all 0. N-Sat, 31. Hdop, 51. Km/h, Knots both 0. Doppler COG 1,273.90. State, OK
So anybody got any clues?
Is this an April fools joke from the future?

Can you safely rule out the Wazza factor?
So just to clarify, it was the GT 11 that recorded the 16 identical records?
99.9% sure it wasn't anything to do with Wazza, I had it in the bag already, all he did was strap it to his arm.
Yep, and they were the last in the file. But I guess because of the date they may be sorted that way, it doesn't necessarily mean they were all created at the same time. Each instant could be months or years apart, I guess? If that's the case the data logger could slowly fill up with 2085 records that never get deleted, because they're always the latest record, even if they're 7 years old?
So I've cleared the data logger, and will check it more regularly, to see if it happens again.
