Dropped into Surf Sail Australia today.
They have Navi GT-11 for $199 or $289 package deal with Aquapac and 1 GB SD card.
Comes with USB cable/charger and car charger.
Get ready for the first days of winter wind and the challenge!!

Troppo, RTFM, page 55 I believe
You need to plug it in, power it on, then run the update utility
I did the same thing, don't put it in Navi mode and try and run the update util

What analysing software are you guys using with the Navi ???

I've tried RealSpeed, seems good, but I dont really know what I am looking at.

RealSpeed is probably the best of the three main packages at the moment - each has good points though.

Basically it is broken down into 4 main windows:
- top-left is your track, looking from a top-view. If your right-click on that window, you can select the "neighborhood" option which makes it much easier to see your current run.
- bottom window is the spped vs. time graph - use your mouse-wheel to zoom in on one of the spikes
- Top right window shows your statistics as would be uploaded to GPS-SpeedSurfing.
- A window containing the raw data as downloaded from the GPS.

At any time you can click on one of the points/rows in any of the windows, which causes the rest of the windows to "sync" with the selected item. eg:

In the top right window, select your peak 2 second run -> now move the mouse over the bottom graph and scroll the mouse wheel. The result should be that you zoom in on the run that had your 2-second peak.

Hope this helps...

Might be cheaper from pommy land but who do you go to when the unit craps itself? Spend an extra few dollars, support the local retailer and get a bit of peace of mind........... its not all about the bucks!. Looks like the details onf the GT-11 have been posted on the Surf Sail Australia website.

Fair enough windwalloper about local supplier, but when Troppo & I ordered our Navi's, Surf Sail didn't list them.
I've bought sails etc from Surf Sail in the past, good mob, but they missed out this time, sorry Mark.
But then 50 bucks is 50 bucks

Board crazy in brisbane also can supply Navi units with 1gb card and card reader for about $220 or so. Simon also updates the firmware, and offers warranty.

Whoo whooo I ordered mine tonight, got a bundle which included the aqua pack $211 but that may include VAT, I missed the aussie link to avoid paying that, sent them an email and I am sure I will get a refund.

Very happy

Cheers GT
