Is there any way you can down load the SBN files on your SD Card using your GT 31 to your PC?
I have only been able to do it , by taking the SD card out of the GT31 and putting it in a card reader to download the SBN files to my PC.

You should be able to do it using navilink2. That should be on the CD that came with your unit.
If not you can download it from the locosystem site.
Haven't used it for a while, but from memory it goes something like this.

connect GT31 via USB to computer, turn on and scroll to "navilink" press the joystick.
Boot up navilink2 on your computer.
Then comes the tricky bit, you have to select which port your unit is connected to.

After that my memory gets very hazy, there's download buttons and stuff, but I don't remember it being all that complicated once you get the port right.

I have already tried that. It will only let me down load the files from the data logger to my PC.
GPX, SBP & speed genie Speed Max & 10 second Max AVerages.
I have looked through the Manual on the CD and I can't see anything that tells you how to do it.

Hi Billabog,

I don't think that there's any way to do it, apart from using a card reader or a camera.

I think that the GT-31 doesn't use the SD as a "mass storage device" the way that cameras do, I've certainly had no luck getting it to work and I've tried reasonably hard.

Using Navilink lets you download the data logger as you have discovered, but I don't think that it will let you look at the card.

Thanks Nebbian for the info.
The Manual doesn't tell you anything about downloading the SD Card Data. My card ready stuff up. Will have to get another card reader I would say.
Thanks.
