i am told the most important thing when moving to burrum is to always invite fellow windsurfers from bribane up to stay as often as possible.

i couldn't resist.

Is there much work up there? I work in IT at a school plus am a teacher. I used to run a computer support business but sold it. Its not the business I want to go back into as its pretty well saturated now.

My wife works in banking as a relationship manager plus she is qualified as a financial planner.

It's like any move Glynn, very much a personal thing what's great for some is crap for others, there's a lot of time to fill in between sails, it's always best to stay/rent for a while B4 committing.
Whenever there's wind (not as much wind as some would have U believe) average 3 sails a week with at least a couple of guys out.

Hervey Bay 30mins away is also great to sail in anything from West North thru to East but crap in south for which we go to Burrum.
