I sailed at Lilacs at Albany WA on Thursday. It was an excellent speedsailing day with flat water and wind gusting over 30 knots. I have been using the small motion logger for some time and have been loving it, and like many who use it had strapped it to the top of my helmet for best reception. Unfortunately, I think during one of the periods standing in knee deep water at the top of the course waiting to start a nautical mile run, I've bashed the logger with the sail or mast and dislodged it, never to be seen again.

There is no trace of glue on the remaining base so either not enough was used or it didn't stick very well. I'd advise anyone using a motion logger to consider running an additional bead of epoxy or superglue around the seam between the body of the logger and the base, particularly if you mount yours on a helmet.

Drop me an email, I'll replace it: julien@motion-gps.com

For statistics enthusiasts:
- this one came unglued,
- one had to be replaced,
- three chargers had to be replaced.
All in all, quite lucky.

Julien, since you said "statistics" - any chance you can give us an idea how many Mini Motions you have shipped?

Great to see that you'll help Pacey. Absolutely no surprise!

Tony Knight's simple suggestion for insurance if you're worried about the glue failing. It doubles as well as a go fast stripe.

And if it does end up on the black bottom mud, there's more chance of seeing it

What do you mean BSN101? As far as I remember, it's always been the same buckle and strap.

Julien, what is the current backlog for supply of the Mini Motion and LCD Motion? When do you anticipate completing these outstanding orders?

COVID has taken some of our family/families, our family tree is becoming somewhat smaller right now... and every day to that!!

It is not what anyone wanted in this current World Pandemic!!

We seem to have forgotten how fortunate we are.

You are reading this, then your one of the lucky buggers that followed the rules. Rules!!!!

Thank God for the RULES!!!

So Julien has mentioned on the other forums.. parts, time and designing are taking time... We trust him as this Product works.

He and others have taken their own time and energy into making some Products and APPs that suit US ALL, we are Professional Windsurfers, Correct?

Let's take our hat's off to them for there continuous help and support, FOR WHAT WE LOVE, 2 sec, 5 x10, 1 Hour, Alpha 500, nautical mile, and Distance

Take a moment to think about what's going on in their World Right Now?

We all need some sort of support in these CRAZY and difficult times?

I have not received any free stuff from Julien, or our local shops at that!!
I am writing this as we are all Human beings...

I am waiting on Mountain Bike Parts from Europe, JUNE 2020, and still waiting paid in full. Answer COVID!

I am waiting on my Fins to arrive from Europe, Paid in full, and still waiting. Answer COVID!
Boards, Sails, etc still waiting...
My wife has ordered a new car, the possibility is that it might come in December, and that is a BIG maybe? Answer COVID!

Remember we all should follow the CURRENT RULES... Correct?

Let us remember why we do what we do, it is to put that smile on the dial, and have fun with our mates!

You all can tell me to F@#$ OFF, but remember current times will become tougher for all...
It is not a personal attack on anyone on this platform, It is just facts people!!

Happy Sailing I am faster than before

This is a reasonable question asked by John. It's a shame we can't get an answer from Julien.

I think every Mini sold is, at worse, in production now. I tested 27 more today. They'll be potted next weekend. There's also plenty of devices ready to ship. I'll do a few parcels a night.

LCD new manufactured antennas, my last attempt really, arrived this afternoon and I haven't tested them yet. If they are good, I'll come back with an update.
