It has been one of the worst years for wind here in the UK since I started windsurfing 10 years ago, only had about 25 full planing sessions all year so far, and only missed a couple of chances. The summer is over here but the high pressure still is hanging on, hope you are getting better wind down there, and really hope the Atlantic kicks up some storms soon.
Phil will be doing a series of articles, will let you know when each one is online.
We have also one of the worst seasons for the Pit. I last sailed there on the 24 Oct ,the rest on the 1st of November. Global warming ![]()
Here is the next article, where the sandwich layer is created and the inserts done.

I think he is going to do something similar to you guys and put some kit in a raffle after the event to help pay for the young french rider Gauthier Bourgeois.
Seeing posts from friends over in Australia is seems your summer has come early with some nice weather. Still quite hot here but the rest of the country is now getting Autumnal, trees are starting to loose leaves which is happening quite early seeing as a lot were a month late getting them. Every wind forecast that appears at the end of the week never actually happens.....there was a great one for today when I looked 3 days ago, currently about 8knots though :(
Next installment - Carbon

some wind on the horizon.....I suspect it will disappear when I hit post my reply in a second ;)
We are going to do a couple more articles, one as a before interview with the rider and an after interview, should be interesting.
Hi all, thanks for all the traffic reading the article, I think Phil appreciates it too. Here is the final product.

If you have any questions for the young french competitor then post them here and I will include them in the interview.
(Wind has returned to our shores, Portland Pirates teammate and long distance session hunter Ian Richards scored a 50+peak at West Kirby and also Jim Crossley both have joined the top ten again.....of course though this wind hits us first on its way to the Netherlands.....)
