Hi everyone I GW 60 has been working perfectly for the last year.
For the first time this week it has been not finding the hard drive in the watch. Normally it'll just come up as ""locosy "When I search my computer.
Now it makes the same audible tone when I connect but then just the concept of " J drive removable disk " comes up. Not locosy . I cannot open this j drive and neither can ka72
I have tried lots of things I have checked the pins I have clean the terminals on both the plug-in and the watch I have the latest firmware I have used different sequences but still the same result. I have tried another computer same thing happens
I have never downloaded anything from either Locosy web site.
Any suggestions.

So what are you using, windoze or Mac?
There's 2 methods of connecting to the GW60, either in COM mode via the GW60 utility, or in USB mode with the file browser.
The easiest windows method is with the utility, but any other operating system has to use it's file browser.
You have to change the method in settings, with the file browser mode you also have to hit the connect to computer button on the watch.
Is it possible, you're in the wrong mode? In which case just change it back in settings. If you're using windows, you can use either method, so try both.
If all that fails,
There's a chance discharging it so it turns off. Then charging it will solve the problem. Just leaving it in GPS mode for 12hrs should turn it off. then keep fingers crossed and recharge.

I would have tried all of the above but IT friend connected through com mode and reinstalled firmware and now works perfectly.
