I looked at sandy pt, interesting to see the course of the inlet change and the changes in vegetation growth at the top end. Wish they were in higher res though.

Thanks for that, great find. Big change at 90-96 then less visible veg at 2000 now lots

Not sure the vegetation is realistically visibly comparable in those photos. Changes in the lighting conditions show up wet sand very dark. If the photos were taken at high tide they look quite different.
One thing that is very obvious is the change in the location and shape of the entrance in the last few years, and the emergence of Sandy'B'

If you want to see a sad change , go and look at Point Henry in Geelong . You can see the speed strip vanish !
Winter westerlies made that place " The " place to be and watch the gaastra speedfoils flying past.

wow wonder what has caused such a change there, it even appeared to be clean sand, imagine that at point henry, not to mention sailing it on todays gear, mmmm

Great little tool. Yeah SPB is sure looking the goods in westerlies...
