Footage from "Super Tuesday" at Sandy Pt 16 Oct 2007 on the 5.3 Koyote (Non Cambered). This was the first time on the Koyote for us and the very, very last run for the day as darkness closed in. The wind had backed off to around 28knots and swung to the south more providing super flat conditions.
I had rigged it up to use after getting footage on the 08 Koncept with Chris L', with day light fading and no time to fine tune it it was straight back onto the strip for its shakedown run just peaking over 41 knots (Navi Doppler). The Koyote felt remarkably stable, given that it does not have cambers, it did the run with complete ease.

Tony,
this was the only run (the first & last) on the Koyote, I'd need 5x10 to post on GPSSS. So next time SP is on I will try to get the Koyote a 40+ 5x10, it shouldn't be too hard given how easy this run was.
Also to note I have done a 41.9 peak with the Ka kult 5.3, and there was also some other person on a CA44? with a Kult who appeared to be doing close to 40 with his on this day.
The hard part will be giving up the Koncept for 5 runs on the Koyote, as when its on at SP you tend to go for it on your fastest kit. Then again theres always new records to be broken on highest volume board, non cambered sail, largest sail etc, etc... It will be great if ,when GPSSS offer these rankings as well to expand on there sites data.
Cheers
Thats impressive Craig !! Its amazing how you can keep sailing when it looks black as. When I sailed at SP, I got back to the car park and had to pack up with the car lights on, but it did'nt seem that dark when I was sailing, I guess your eyes just get used to it.
Spotty , I will bring down an extra Formula Board for you to use in the B to B today if you want , or just grab AMACs.
