Hi there

Could someone please tell me the width of an unrigged 4.4 KA Koncept from the very front edge of the luff pocket directly below cutout to the furthest point on the back edge of the sail (end of batten above clew eyelet).

Thanks
Dave

I just measured a few (from front of luff st the top of the boom cutout to edge of sail just behind clew eye):
2007 4.4m 155
2009 4.4m 165
2010 4.3m 155

Thanks for that. Just cutting down a 4.6 about a half a metre or so but might have gone a bit far. Could you tell me the length of the cutout from the end of the sail next to the eyelet to the end of the batten above it on the leech. (Edge of sail)Much appreciated.

Cheers Dave

Dave , go easy on the boom length. I find short chord sails twitchy. If you can just shorten the luff it may be better.

Ok. Boom length is down to 148 and the cutout/extra bit that hangs out above boom is about 50mm. At a guess its down to a 4.0. Hope it works cos its coming over to sandy point with me. (just in case of another psycho sunday)
