I think Juniors (13 to 17) take to this naturally, and need to be encouraged, that's all

Kiddies (12 and under) are a bit more reluctant, but are always interested in their own improvement. We had our 10yo daughter windsurfing the other day, put a gps on her, and she looked at her speeds after every run. She was stuck on 3.8 knots for a while, and then she did a blistering run of 5.6 knots, and she punched the air and said "Yeesss!!!!!!" Then when she got home she wanted to know whether she had gotten any PB's from her last GPS session, when I showed her 3 new PB's, she looked all coy, and then raised both hands in the air!!!

Get them into it, it's just another way for them to have fun and be interested in something other than TV and Computer games!!!

My young bloke is 17 months but I can tell he's keen.

What do you suggest?

Have I left it too late?

He just Sooo keen, I can tell!

I don't know where he gets it from.

17 months is not too late, but you don't wanna leave it too much longer
