Is anyone interested in finding out how fast the inflatable wind/sup can go???

I have been inspired by Spotty and his sup speeds at sandy point.

I'm interested to find out; as well as promoting this accessible and fun area of our sport that is family friendly and has heaps of potential to get people on the water with a key focus on family accessible fun in Sup and Windsurfing that fits super easy into a family car.

Windsurfing is all about having a blast with mates and the family so who is interested

My equipment is the take anywhere Naish 11 Crossover wind sup with backpack and new 2015 Naish 5.5m Crossover rig.

I was on a high speed powerboat adventure cruse in Tassie and this rubber ducky in open water speed craft that just ate up the chop and got me thinking could this flexible technology apply to speed windsurfing???

Who knows this could lead to inflatable speed boards being developed.

Cheers Russ

Thanks Russ for the promo, might help boost sales!!!

Great boards the inflatables, speed sailing sup aside!! the general sup buyer should not exclude the inflatable Naish range.
Russ might be good if you come along to the next Windsurfing TAS Learner day with your Naish inflatable gear.

Jay Sails in Tasmania/Hobart is the local Naish Retailer.

Hey Russ

How much fun is it really, sailing your Naish 11 Crossover wind sup in light winds on flat water (ocean) or in small waves?

I'm looking for an option when the wind is 5 to 12 knots.

I went out for a light wind sail on my Naish Crossover 11 with the new crossover 5.5 rig in very light wind today just to try it out.

Pumping up took about 8 minutes and is easy to get to the 14 psi the Naish crossover rig has a three piece mast nice boom and base and uphall included and is mega value and super easy to rig.

I think they are heaps of fun if you like sailing in conditions like today super light wind. It is a bit like sailing a water bed at first but you get in tune with it quick and then it is efficient upwind, reaching and the gybe is very cool as well.

Perfect for the family man or lady who has kids on camping holidays and wants to take a board but can not fit anything more into the car. this is it!!!!! sail & sup or use it as a fun surf board and super easy and stable for teaching friends and soft finish rubber finish is awesome for kids and they would have a hard time damaging this puppy

Easy to pack away as well (big boards are hard to store this the same size as a kite backpack)

5 to 12 knots are this puppy's a-game

Speed sailing I would love to get to 15 knots On this beast.

Cheers Russ

I'm keen, just have to be careful that there's not too much pressure on the mast foot attachment. I think a 15kts 2 sec will be easy.
