So this is what comes up when I try to upload to KA72. I have GT-11 set up exactly as the internet says it should be, but the 'index is out of range'. Problem with my device or the website?
I think if you'd titled this something like "KA 72 load problem" then Dylan would be more likely to notice it and come back with a solution.
The message seems to be saying to me that the file you're uploading is invalid in some way.
Can you send me a copy of the GPS file to dylan@ka72.com and I'll take a look at it.
Dylan.

I have the same problem![]()
Your file header is not in the right format, so the application is choking.
Looks like a very early firmware perhaps. Have you ever updated the firmware?
A normal SBN file contains some header information like this:
USERNAME,1000666,1,V1.62(B1115)
This is the username, the device serial number, the time interval (in seconds) and the firmware version.
Your file headers look like this:
JOCK CALVERT 1003021 (1s)
There are no commas, no firmware version, and the interval is in text, not just a number. ka72.com can't interpret what it's seeing in the header.
I guess someone who has been around GT-11s longer than me could confirm that this is how they originally did their thing?
I've just looked at my 07 files. the early ones were .txt format, but in December I have some .sbn.
Opened one with gedit, and this looks like the header.
MIKE,1000374,1,V1.62(B1115)
Did a more thorough investigation, .txt files up to july 18th 07 but july 19 07 is the first .sbn file I have, with this header.
MIKE 1000374 (1s)
So looks like you're spot on the money Dylan, it's very ancient firmware.
If more recent firmware can't be found, I have a copy of this, just PM me with your email address and I'll send it along.
V1.61(B0608T)
You should really still update your firmware. That GPS must have been on a shelf somewhere since 2007!
I tried to update the firmware but it didn't show the com port n/0 , so no luck, tonight I uploaded and got the same message , so I formatted the card and all fixed ,![]()
