I have a video but don't know how to embed it?

It's automatic. Just copy and paste the URL of the video into the post. That's it!

I did but it doesn't show as a video just a link?

It may make a difference if you use the Rich text editor, or the plain text editor? Try the Rich TE. Thats all I did here:
