It looks like there has been some fast action in Germany!
Anyone Heard of Vollerwiek, Nordseepriel, Germany? It must have some flat water.
Man, this place looks better than Sandy Point !! Hey Snides I think you should pack your CA40 on your business trip to Germany!
Yep another 50kt speed strip revealed, adding to the PiT and the Ray. Will not be too long before the Brace joins the elite 50kt spots
Very Brace like sand bar strip just south of Sylt
Brilliant effort!!!!!!!!!!!
Interestingly was Using a Lessacher Duo 30 degree rake. So much for people poopooing the assymetric on both sides!!

Big Speed Day in Germany...
It was finally the day where we have long been waiting for it!
My periods were always from the beginning 42 to 44 knots (10 sec).
In a rain front refreshes the wind stronger and turned in a better direction ... after 2 minutes was again less wind and more chop on the Course.
I have the best use of time and could go 50 knots max... it was too easy!
Normally I always use the Fanatic Slalom (90l) but this time i used the Fanatic Speed (Produktion).
My last Time on this board was in Namibia 2006!
Also the 22 Rake 30 from Wolfgang Lessacher did their job perfectly!
and from Patrick Oberlender
INCREDIBLE DAY!
New PR's for all riders!
and still not in perfect conditions .....
Thanks to Gun Sails and Wolfgang Lessacher ;-)
Congratulations Thomas and Manni for their the top times!
Daniel welcome in the club over 40knots ;-)
It was the first time that Thomas used a 22cm Rake 30°fin. 100% carbon and
ceramic inside. If she is good for 100 top, lets look. Wolfgang
The wind looked abit square to start with going by the flag on the bank but swung very broad near the end of the clip and they looked to be flying when that happen.
Nice spot.
seems much better track than the canal in france. No rolling chop, no bank to windward. Looks even better than SP though I imagine hitting the bottom would be easier as the water and bank are the same colour.
I'm not much of a speed sailor, but the chance to be able to pull the hammer down on butter smooth water just looks soooo appealing.
