Hard to pick it was such a great day, but for me it was the description of Reg's crab encounter, just wished I's seen it!

Yep we've all done that once or twice, occasionally without stepping on a crab, but that's another story for another day

I got a perment scar down my back (about 15 or so cm long) from believe it or not, catepulting and being slung onto a crab. Ended up in the Victer emergency dept. getting fixed up after peeling off my wettie at the end of the session and finding out there was actually something bad lol... Got the pics somewhere i think but they don't show the best of it unfortunatley!!!

Absolutely brilliant thats what it's all about.

I could'nt have taken it home anyway, it had "keep away from boiler" stamped on the box.

I knew this place was dangerous, but it was a war zone.

Rocks, crabs, cobblers, channel markers, weed banks, sticky mud .....

I think I have post traumatic stress (the crabs, the crabs)

Reg, has a special relationship with marine creatures. He and the cobbler go way back and he always like to show his appreciation on meeting one.

The crab is a new one for us river rats, we're used to having our toes sucked by blowfish , not crabs with atititudes lurking in ambush.

The 'squelling like a girl' is a signal meaning, bring beer quick.

Highlight of the day, not a kite in sight

It's the trees, there's been a few kiters come looking, but we quickly point out all the trees, and tell them kiters beach a couple kilometres south is a much better option.
