Must be zen or sumfink, me logging on while you did.
If its doing that, normally its because its got a huge spike in it that is way out of its scale.
If you open it with the G7towin program, (Google it if you dont have it) and scroll down though the data you will find the problem section, delete the problem part and you should be OK. (I think)

Just to make sure mineral's on the right track, try opening one of your old files, that used to work before and see what happens.

Also you can send me the file and I'll see what GPSarPro makes of it.

Just tried saving to card on the data logger.
Ended up with a SBP file. When i try to open this in Realspeed it does the same thing.

Realspeed just closes

Well mineral's right there's a big spike in the middle, goes from 70kt down to minus 20kts.
HOW do you do minus 20kts?????? go back in time or something?

Think you should also send this file to Mal and tell him your problem.
Are you using the lates version of realspeed 1.28 I think.
I'll see if I can persuade gpsarpro to clean your file up and send you it back as a .gpx file.

Few of my team suffered same issue.
From what I can gather, the GPS looses its fix for a period, due to being obscured from satellites, then gets a re-fix and away it goes. The ones I can recall, when I saved them as a GPX, showed that the sailor went from local to some place off in Indian Ocean, and back, thus generating the high speeds
Decrepit, save his file as a .gpx on you desk top (Ben you can do that) then load it to Google Earth to see if that's what it did.

OK, think I've cleaned it up and posted back to bender as gpx.
Very weird it had a few instances of the same time twice, never seen that before.

Still think Mal would like to see it. especially that you're using the latest version
