In the earlier footage I'm using a 5.8 (wind around 30knots)-in the later footage over the Northern Run an 8.4-on the day we shot that footage there was only 15knots of wind -just like Sandy Point it doesnt always blow hard on green island.Check Bom.gov.au for stats & have a look at current wind forecast.(20-30knots all week)
The timing of Speed Week will correspond with the strongest winter winds & 4 superlow tides so the flat water/strong wind combination should be working ...
We'll endeavour to get some more footage next time the wind blows on a < .6m low tide.
