My GW60 suddenly stopped responding to any buttons.
Still can access by USB to download data but pressing any buttons do not change anything
Showing only time now.If there is anything I could do before asking manufacture for help?
I did try to refresh software successfully but no effect on buttons.

Are you sure it's not just locked? Try holding Mode/Back and Start at the same time.

Yep, John could be on the money here, not many sailors know about the lock-unlock sequence unless they've owned a GW52

I had the same issue this week, the GW60 buttons stopped functioning while trying to unlock and switch gps off at end of session. I left it alone for 15 mins, then tried again and got it unlocked and switched off. Took a few tries though.

My GW60 just stopped working on buttons one day and never worked again.
Tried everything to get it to work and eventually Locosys had me send it back. It was replaced under warranty.

I had a similar problem, when wearing the watch over a spray jacket. The sleeve was loose and crumpled and pressed on the buttons, when I wiped out and was submerged.
Apparently operating the buttons allows the watch to breath, letting in moisture. That's why the instructions say, "don't press buttons underwater". Locosys advised to clamp buttons down and leave in a hot dry place. so I used a plastic clamp and popped in a black plastic bag inside a sunny window. I left it there for several days, and it's been fine ever since.

That is smart. To let watch breathe under water. I had electronic watch , 40 years ago, guarantied to 50 m dive, cost maybe 5 Deutsche Marks.

Yes I'm not game to touch my buttons now, unless they are dry.

You could be absolutely right.Finding the culprit to the failure. When I get off the water, watch is colder and pressure inside lower. If pressing button now open the vent - that water remains in sucked in.My watch sill operate So maybe I could try drying as you said for few days. The problem is that salt once get in will corrode all electronics later or sooner.I must say that I am surprised to learn that this watch isn't designed to be waterproof- with vents open when pressing buttons.Funny that my old GT-31 still works fine after so many years and new last 1 year only.
