I remember last year some one posting locosy where doing a replacement deal for faulty watches. Any one remember what the cost was?

mine died today, can't switch it on, it comes on when charging, but you can't select gps mod either.

It has been playing up for while, it was tricky to get a contact when charging, you had to wiggle it around a bit before it actually started to charge.

a bit pee'd off because I only used it about 15/20 times and it's out of warranty by a couple of months.

Can't remember what the deal was.
But I fixed the same problem with mine here. you just need to be handy with a small philips screw driver, and have some contact cleaner handy.

Sorry to be a pain mate, can you remember what size screw driver you used? I don't have a h3x screw driver that small in the tool box so need to order one :)

No sorry I've had it for ages, there's no markings on it, but the shaft is around 2.5mm.
The other thing is, it really really helps if it's magnetic. I stroked mine with a magnet, so I could get the screws back in.

Before you pull it appart try connecting to the GW52 utility. A few months ago mine would not connect or charge even with a new cable and clean contacts. In fact it completely discharged the battery overnight. I tried connecting to the gw52 utility and it worked and started charging when i disconnected. Havent had a problem since. I dont know why it worked but it did, i was ready to donate it for spare parts to decrepit before that.

My watch failed.
I contacted Locosys via their website.
Sent faulty watch to Taiwan.
I just got a replacement watch sent direct from Locosys.
A great service from them.

That's encouraging to hear Bradman.

I emailed Locoys a couple of days ago, and to be fair, they replied within 24 hours. I explained to them that although I got it in October 2017, I only started using it in the UK spring 2018 (short sleeve wetsuit weather) because it didn't fit over my winter wetsuit. I finally got a strap extension for this winter. Basically just 9 months use, or 20-25 sessions.

They'v sent me an RMA form to send it back to Taiwan. The way I read their email is, if its customer damage, I pay. If its a fault they'll exchange it..... hopefully.

I finally got round to posting my faulty GW60 back to Locoys. They got back to me quickly and confirmed it was faulty and would send me a replacement free of charge.

Its worth mentioning that the GW60 was around 6 months out of warranty', and I didn't actually purchase it, I won it on a Locoys video competition on Facebook. They could have told me to bugger off I guess. Decent company I guess.
