The ACT Gustbusters are the new team, will let the guys introduce themselves when they are ready.
They are starting out as 2 guys, but with many recruits in the wings, Ian and Brian, Welcome Aboard the GTC Express!!!!!!!
WELCOME Guys, join the fun, whenever you need help, just post here and one of our generous members will assist!!!
Welcome aboard guys... beware it is addictive. I have seen other threads describing some pretty good sailing near Canberra ( although it did say it can be gusty.) Look forward to reading about your exploits.![]()
G'Day Guys, welcome to the fun side of the sport, we dont take things too serious ![]()
Look forward to your exploits as you start to post numbers ![]()
Mineral (Pinnas)
Thanks Hardie, Evets and Mineral for the welcome! ![]()
The team name was a stroke of genius by Ian. It's common to have gusty conditions here. Further, how many GTC teams have their own song? (Who ya gonna call?)
Personally, I've been addicted for 25+ years, and can see no cure, nor want a cure. Love it! Getting a GT11 only committed me deeper. Now, after each sailing session, I KNOW how much fun I've had.
New ACT gust busters welcome. PM Ian K or myself.
Cheers
Thanks for the welcome guys. Not only have we got a team song but we're working on a haka to get us pumped for season opening on the first day of spring. That must be 50 yrs between us Brian! Yes, we know all the secret spots in Lake Burley Griffin.
I'd like to Kato, not sure about work yet. Looks like a big turnout is expected for Al's fortnight, should be a great event as usual.
