Check it: http://gpsteamchallenge.com.au/rankings_combined.php?year=2008

Looks like SRM and MBM are in a tight struggle with only 2 points spearating them. Though OSD and Pit Crew have had no wind so far this month, so this could easily change before end of Month.

You mean by the end of the week!

The Goolwa boys (OBSD) have slighty less wind but it still looks good.

Glad your kit isn't my kit then

I'll have to sail in the River then (Black Friday)

Btw, whats meant to happen if you sail in the sea on a Fri 13th?
Or you just don't?

Sorry Martin[}:)] Shelbys posted some good times with Matt and Spotty to come.As Slowly thought ,went south pretty quickly to the point where I was running down the course in the middle of the channel to the red buoy and against the bank back up to the carpark. Had lots of holes and squals you just had to pick the right one.Had a few runs on Toms CA40,he,s very lucky he got it back as it would fit very nicely in the back of the trailer. Fun day

Black Friday, pfffff, just go sail you paranoid twats, at worst it was more of a Freaky Friday. The Rainbow with the Slowie's 50k pot of gold appeared a few times, firstly halfway down the course and later on the east bank, just not at the end of the run.

My fastest run of the day felt the slowest, it was in the bigger 35' squall with rain, hail & sand belting me hard in the right eye. I had to close it and couldn't see much further than 40-50ft with left eye, it felt too sketchy with my vision/balance impaired so sheeted out a little and went survival mode, all was feeling neutral and slow. Pulled up and and had a ~45.5pk and ~44.4 10sec Freaky!!! Adrian who went moments earlier in the squall noted a similiar experience, felt slow yet fast. We were literally sucked along without having to fight or lean back into it.

So maybe those hailstones floating in the water reduce friction???

My 10 sec avg calc' from restore off Navi is around 42.6 so not enough to knock Foxy off 10th posn'. Have to wait till I download for more detail...

Wow the GTC is hotting up, loads of sessions from over a dozen teams in June alone.
Keep sailing those cold waters folks ( ok so FNQ may not be cold but everything is relative)
Congrats to the curent leaders but watch out 'cos there are loads trying to knock you off the top spot!
