Hans beat Jacques previous record.....but was then pipped at the post by Jacques today. The pair of them are raising the bar too often now!!!

It will be interesting to see if Nick Dempsey joins in next year to give them some competition

Fantastic speeds!
There goes my #1 ranking. Got some work to do now if Lake George turns it on again next summer.

Not a bad Alpha either from Jacques!!

I was Friday in Strand Horst. I know it since good 40 years. I brought some fins
for speeder, the most were Rake 30°.Later tested some friends a Delta Fin with 175mm. Quattro asymm. with cut out. There it is a fin from MUF I wait so long
to write something over the test. At first should MUF write something. On Boot
in Düsseldorf I got such a fin in G10. I worked the concaves in.Worked a mould
for Carbon fins.At once saw I a man with the name Edwin Harteveld. He would
try to get the topspeed record for Formulas . From a friend a Patrik Diethelm
board 2010 Formula. He tried a 50 and later a58cm fin. Not fast enough, he must make more than 64,5 km/h.I said, please try a 40cm Rake 30° fin. He did it and he made65,84km/h. 35,48 knots. GPS.Now say some Speeder, that such a short
fin is not okay, but Horst is like Lake George, weed and not deep enough for 70cm.

the fin is too short... that is cheating...!!!!
seriously though, 35kn on a formula board is pretty cool.

Spotty might have to shelve the SUP, to opt for a formula!
