Hi Mark,

From the Locosys website:
www.locosystech.com/en/product/Previous-Generations/locosys-previous-generations.html

The following cards have been tested to work with GT-31:
SanDisk 2G
Transcend 1G
Kingstone 2G
PNY 2G
Apacer 2G 60X

Compatible/Suggested SD card to go with Locosys GT-31/BGT-31 or SD cards (<=2GB) with 2.8VDC(3.3VDC~2.7VDC) power input should work.

I've used a cheapo mini SD card with adaptor from eBay with no problem and an old 16mb card from an old camera. My current card is a Canon 32mb card that came with another camera. Its working fine.

From experience the Dick Smith cards do not work, unless they have changed their voltages from a few months ago.

It also tells you the SD cards supported in the readme file when you download and unzip the firmware file. I bought a Toshiba SD card from WOW for about 7 bucks and it works fine ........

I have a GT-11 not a GT-31, but I found Dick Smith Electronics were a good place to get the SD cards as you can take the GPS in there and ask them if they have one that works and actually try it in the shop before buying it. If it doesn't work, don't buy it.

I found the normal SD cards they had didn't work, but the ones that are transflash (microSD) with the adapters to SD size work fine, and I've tried three different ones.
