Took my GT-31 for a run today to Port Macquarie. I noticed the following 2 errors:

1. Trip meter would not remember my maximum speed of 661 kmh. (It only showed up as 61 kmh)

2. Speed Genie would not remember my maximum speed of 661 kmh. (It displayed a max of 545 kmh).

The 661 kmh was showing up fine in the live speed display, the problems were only when trying to view the recorded maximum values.

Anyone had similar problems?

P.S. No, they are not typos, and yes, I am being serious.

The thing with speed genie, is that the last speed run isn't displayed in it.
That doesn't get stored until the next time you go over your genie speed setting. I think if you hit save, while viewing the latest run, it will then go into speed genie.

Could be the cause of the 545, 661 difference, not sure why trip meter didn't record thou.

I figured something like that.
My brother is looking at heading over to your side of the ditch to do a Metro freight/mail run between Perth and Melbourne, although there is talk that he might end up in Adelaide instead. He's pretty keen for Perth though, being a fellow windsurfer.
