Good to see. How did that new coverage come about?

A member of the public got confused and reported a beached whale sighting just off Lilacs.

The editor was driving passed and noticed the windsurfers were going faster than his car, and decided to stop and take photos

How convenient that you (as the instigator of the GPSTC) were there at the time.

Fantastic to see our great sport getting some mainstream attention. Great article thanks for speaking up Joseph. Ironically the photo was missed by some of my non windsurfing friends in Albany. I thought is was easy to become a media personality. I was wrong. Those in the know will also notice the strange stance of the sailor on the right. Pinching up wind meant an unusually forward leaning stance, hardly a fast point of sailing.
