I have Java version 6 update 1 installed and verified OK. When I double click on 'gps_install.exe' a window pops up for a split second then closes. Then nothing else happens. Any ideas?
Don't panic
All that has been done is a small programme which allows GPSAR to read directly from your GPS.
It's done exactly what it is supposed to do.
I thought Haydn was complaining he couldn't install action replay, didn't think you had to click on a install file.
Hey haydn,
Double click on either gpsar.jar or gpsar.bat and you'll see if the program is installed properly.

Thanks for the help folks. I think my problem is that I didn't download it correctly, as the only file I have is the gps_install on my hard drive. There is no .jar file.
I just plucked out an old version of GPSAR (2.0.2) that I had on a CD from a couple of years back and see that there are heaps of files involved, including a .jar file. When I run it off the CD it is fine.
So I've gone back to the GPSAR website but can't get onto it atm, so assume it is down. When it comes good I'll try to download the latest version, I assume there is one, given I have 2.0.2 on a CD.
Thanks again.
G'day Haydn
