I went into the GPs and did something to the trip meter settings ( I wanted to have it start a new trip each time I sailed). I can't remember what I did but now everytime I go to turn it off it won't turn off until it's created a new file.. I have heaps of the buggers..
Anyone know what I might have done and how to fix it?
Wow Sue, you've created a new one there. I thing you'll have to go through all the settings and check them. My guess is something in the "Memory card" or "Data Logger" menus

I think I may have worked out a way to stop it..I went into the miscel menu and got rid of the trip auto save setting ( which I hope was the one I set up before?) . The GPS now seems to be going normally I just hope it still records the kms..
I think you found it Sue, I'm fairly sure there's nothing in "misc" that's important.
Maybe we need a list somewhere of "traps for young players", there's quite a few of them with this machine.
