Does anyone have any tips / workflow / reliable software recommendations that can extract GPS data from a GoPro video file?
GoPro Hero 5 (GPS enabled).
Apple MacOS 10.12.6 Sierra
I'm trying to pinpoint a specific location from my sailing run to locate where I saw a hazard in the water.

In the Sony cam it comes out as a separate file which you can convert with a text editor

Also, with either a camera or watch, when you see the hazard you can stop and record a waypoint.
