I went sailing with out the card in the gps. How do you get the data off the gps?
It involves the data logger doesn't it? can someone please help me out!!
Assuming you have a GT11/31.
Go to the data logger, select "save to card"
you should then have an sbp files on your card with approx the last 7 hours of sailing on it. You'll then have to figure out, how to separate the last session from the earlier stuff.
I did what you suggested decrepit, and when you download any of the files in realspeed they come up as blank yet all the files are of a decent size.
Jordan, if you are using the latest version of RealSpeed (1.928) and have successfully performed a Save To Card from the DataLogger section on the GPS, then send me the SBP file and I'll take a look. My email is mwright (at) intellimass.com

Hey KA, you might be looking at the wrong date (as in today's data that was recorded when you were trying to download the data onto the card)
Later versions of Realspeed automatically split the file by date.
Easiest way to check is to throw it at www.ka72.com, this will automatically split by date as well...
Slightly harder way is to click on the "Track files" section on the LHS of realspeed, you should see your day's sailing in there. Click on the relevant date and hey presto.
I wont worry about Mal as it was only a light session. I will just try to remember to put the card in from now on. If it was a great session and i thought i might have some pb's i would have sent you the file straight away
. Anyway thanks for everyones help.
Cheers Jordan
