Gidday all,
Im having trouble downloading to Realspeed from my Garmin 101.
At the start I select Comm 3 and it comes back straight away with "Failed to Initialise".
Ive tried each comm port but 3 was the one chosen. It sometimes takes heaps of attempts before it works. The data is fine once down loaded.
First attempt with RS worked fine but its slowly taking longer and longer.
Coudl anyone point me in the right direction or offer some advice??

Ive tried all morning and then in frustration tried G7toWin and hey presto, worked first go.
make sure you plug it into the same usb port each time - i ran into the same problem when i tried to download from my garmin initially. Serial ports have some annoying habbits... even when coupled with a usb connection
