I need to cut off the end of a file. I tried to download GPS speedreader but I get this page and nothing seems to work ( although I did get Java. Any suggestions?
Are you on a PC or Mac?
If I recall I just pulled the gosspeedreader.exe file out of the Windows zip file and plonked it in a convenient folder. Then created a shortcut to it.
You can edit gpx files with any text editor. Just a tedious job to find the bits to remove.

I didn't realise you had to select a box. That's probably why the download didn't work.

I'd just drop the .exe file onto the desktop.
My desktop has so much crap on it I'd never find it again..
Figured it out. Thanks. I found a different page on the internet that had a better download link and figured out how to add it to the taskbar.
