BBQ @ Hardies Run Sunday 18th of November. I have the T1 SR 50 board, and the Gaastra Vapour 6m sail, so they are both randomly drawn on that day.

If windy we can all sail together as well.

Bought it forward one week as Reg has his Cervantes speed w/e on the last w/e in November, so don't want to clash with that, and that's a great tradition that is steadily growing and we should support it!!

Windwarrior have also donated a Blastshield, so that will be given away in November as well!!!!!!!!

I'm sure the Wind Warrior Speed Diva's will be on for a BBq at Hardies run and a sail although I think I'm going to have problems persuading Elmo to lend me the JP 84L again after he just cracked 40Knots on it - awesome effort.

Well that seems to be what happens when the Divas make the trip to Mandurah although Mickey cracked some PBs at Gnaraloo too. Looking forward to the 18th!

I was under the impression that the Team Challenge was meant to run until the end of the year?

Yep, challenge keeps running to end of December, but as prizes aren't awarded on results they can be drawn any time.

As for the board Will now has for Cervantes, here are the specs

Blast the 50 knot barrier!

Bjorn Dunkerbeck and Peter Thommen are on mission: After generations of prototypes and endless hours of testing they are proud to present the T1 "SR50". This is the exact "Speed Replica" of Bjorn's speed contest board he drove to victory at the 2004 Fuerteventura Speed Challenge.
Bjorn: "This board is unbelievable: It handles all conditions and sail sizes extremely well, it always sits steady providing superior control - exactly what you are looking for in a speed board. Peter did it - again!"
Peter: "My concept proved right again: Control and range of use boost the performance beyond the rider's expectations. Trust me: with the SR50 you will be faster than your dreams."

Length: 239 cm
Width: 50 cm
Volume: ? 65 l
Weight: "Light!"
Bottom Shape: single / double concave
Technology: Monocoque Carbon Sandwich
Recommended Fin: 27cm (Select Lightning Pre Preg Carbon)
Recommended Sail Sizes: < 6,8 m2

Come on Will, Time to challenge Slowboat!
