(I don't care if I can't read it on the water - I go for a sail to get away from gadgets). Budget is tight so looking for an option at the cheaper end of the market. Will this unit allow me to upload files to KA72 and generate KML files? If these units are OK is the below ebay link what I want to buy?

thats what I use and where i bought it. KML files not sure, I sail & download KA72 then GPSTC.

I've been really happy with the device up until recently.
Yes it does allow KML files to be produced from the KA72 site. I can't believe you didn't know that Dave - where did you go to school???? 
At the moment I'm having some problems with it (see other post) but am hopeful there's just a simple fix to my challenge.
