Hello GPS Buffs. Just starting to get into Freerace thing. It was really good to see in latest freerace how one measures up against each other and seeing what gear the everyone was using and what the speed was. On uploading some files of my own into KA72 (I used a Mac) I could see the speeds, alphas etc, but how could one say work out data over a one hour period so I can practice, compare and basically motivate myself to harden up!!

Sorry, not quite following... what do you mean when you say 'work out data over a one hour period'?

In the first freerace in Sydney my GPS unit was turned on for the afternoon. I was wondering how James extracted the GPS information for the 2 half hour periods that we raced.

Hey Dean

The "special" software filters out the data for the 2 specified periods by looking only at the specific point in that time period.

Gps action replay allows you to look at your tracks and speeds at certain points it will give you a good idea of speed and angles.

Otherwise the standard gps teams challenge will give you enough info to monitor your progress.
