Big weekend for PB's in GPSTC

Having an extended lunch break today... has there been more PB's in one weekend in GPSTC history??? I've only been involved in just under a year and i cant recall one.

Saturday - 41 PB's
SA Speed Demons x 15
Connewarre x 6
Tassie guys x 11
Moreton Bay x 1
Southerly Busters x 5
Barrum Heads MOB x 3

Sunday - 61 PB's
Southerly Busters x 24
Bonno Blasters x 7
Lake Mac x 2
Mandurah x 3
Moreton Bay x 6
Cockroaches x 3
Mid Nth Marauders x 4
ACT Gutbusters x 2
Wannabees x 2
Barrum Heads MOB x 8

Then if you count the few sessions that have been posted today already theres another 13 PB's from Moreton Bay MOB, Mandurah MOB & the Tassie guys again!!!

Not only is everyone getting better, it looks to be like more people are coiming into the sport of GPS sailing.

personally GPS sailing has added a whole new dimention to windsurfing for me.
Not only has it given me some benchmarks to improve against, it has connected me to a community of sailors who are happy to help me improve!
You really do get that team spirit going - thanks moreton bay mob!

If your not involved in GPS sailing yet id recomend giving it a crack -it really is a lot of good spirited fun

Yes it's great. It's not just people in your own team you get know either. I used to think the challenge was about PBs and performance but now I think it more about building community.

It's great to meet windsurfers when traveling or when they are traveling and to find out they are in the challenge like you.

This is totally true. You don't even have to be fast or have race gear to get these benefits. It has improved my sailing out of sight and I have still to get past 28 knots.
