My SB W49 has had a repair to the hull. A large area at the rear has been sprayed. What would be the best way to finish it off, T-cut or a very fine grade wet & dry sanding? Any tips?

It's a Board polish that say's it reduces friction by 15% but i haven't had a chance to use it yet as there has been feck all wind recently. Gonna put it on my speed and slalom boards and hopefully it will help me to finally break 40 knots 
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but short of altering the viscosity of the water around the board not much can reduce the skin friction coefficient.
For a hydrodynamically smooth surface (one where the roughness is less than the boundary layer thickness) which all boards should be. The coefficient of skin friction drag is reliant only on the Reynolds number.
The skin friction drag force is then reliant on the wetted area and the velocity of the board.
I reckon you wanna coat your van in it Alastair at least you will save upto 15% on your fuel bill when travelling i can't see it getting you over 30 Knots mate its not what i call a miracle cure to make you a fast and competitive speed/slalomsailor.

so i reckon it's worth trying it out mate but i don't think anything will help towards my fuel bills with how much diesel is costing these days 
but hitting a brick wall of just under 36 knots at the minute so i will try anything to finally get a peak speed over 40 knots.
