I think Loft is based in Southern Spain at Tarifa so its probably there. Don't break down as next stop will be Morroco.

Nice GoPro action!

On a clear day Morroco looks like it's a short sail away, Ludo told me if you break something next stop is more likely Nth America

Monty's(Loft) home spot Tarifa, i think years ago there used to be a Speed event held there, Snags the action in the surf must look like your speed spot at Yaspoon

Flat water is the main beach at Tarifa, blowing from the North

My question where is Loft based, was a retorical one.
The beach is La Jaima @ Tarifa. In the beginning you can recognize the tower of the town in the background.

Oops my bad Didn't realise just how narrow the Straights of Gibraltar are too - only 16 kms from Tarifa to Africa.

If only we got offshore winds like that in Yeppoon - speedsailing heaven.

Probably one or two decent ones a year mid winter. Need to be one the ball to sail them as they only seem to last 2 to 3 hours max. Beautiful to sail in the bay although like any offshore wind it's up & down.
