Hello,
I used the search but could not find help.
I'm getting BGT or GT-31 device.
I know that the firmware can only be updated with PC.
This not a problem. I use mac but can update the firmware with PC.
Can i use the bluetooth in BGT-31 to download my tracks to mac?
Or should i get GT-31 and use SD card reader to download the tracks.
Thanks
FIN555
The bluetooth is only to show where you are at any moment, it can't be used for downloading.
I use a MacBook, and use an SD card reader for my NAVI. Works well!
Hey Nebs, what's up mate, are you slipping?
You didn't invite FIN555 to get a team together for the GTC.
GT and BGT are actually same devices, only is difference in BT
as Nebb said, you can use BT for example for live tracking from some event
or something. In both device exactly the same firmware fits, but i also choose
GT31 for me becouse, i don't need live tracking, and BGT in that case have many
BT options in setting you must switch to OFF to BGT working properly via usb cable. In the beggining i also think that ii can transfer data wireless via BT on PC/Notebook, but that can't be done... So I think that GT is better solution for now
Both GPS-Results (native OSX) and GPSAR-Pro (Java) are great on Mac OSX.
Or you could run Windows under VMWare if you have an INTEL Mac and use the windows versions of either of those two programs or use RealSpeed which is currently Windows only.
Personally, on the Mac I find GPS-Results more intuitive and on Windows I prefer RealSpeed.
For preference I use Realspeed inside a Parallels virtual machine running XP.
If stuck then I use GPSActionReplay natively.
GPSResults looks nice, but is too expensive for me...
GPS action replay is 30 euro which is like 70 aus depending on the dollar, is that meant to be cheap?
