Locosys has in formed us that the GT-31 production has come to the end of it's life due to vital GPS chip parts reaching their end of production life.

Any possible replacements from Locosys or others is some time off. Probably not for a year or so, so the GT-31 remains the affordable standard for our fun and record rankings.

Previous recent posts have indicated that a number Aussie of shops ordered up and still have good stocks of the GT-31 GPS.

This is just to let people know that GPS-SS also still has good stocks in Europe and if local supplies are exhausted it is possible to get some shipped to Australia. PM me if the need arises.

Thanks for the info Sailquik, I was wondering if I should buy a (second) spare. If there are a few out there I shall stick with the 2 I have and trust a replacement will become avaiable by the time they both expire.
