Any of the other few Punters out today.
I sailed the 7.8m at Botany today and the gusts quite nice 15-20 and a bit more. Lots of runs between 28 & 30 kts, so if anyone else was out I'll post them.
Tommorow's looking good.
G'day Mr Waiting
Are you speaking of the Pittwater Punters? If you are, glad to have you aboard. Unfortunately I wasn't out sailing but I'm not sure about Karl. :)
G'day Des, I've just looked at the teams challenge site. Once again, welcome aboard. I'm racing up at Hawks Nest this weekend so definitely a post of some sort for Sat & Sun.
Come up and say G'day at Palmie weekend after, I'll probably be on the Formula board, AUS 230. See Ya then...

Hi Des,
I did not sail this afternoon. I will do my best to sail tomorrow at least for an hour. Once daylight savings starts it will be daily sailing for me, weather permitting.
I will continue my recruitment drive so the punters will become an uber team and overtake the mobs, weather permitting![]()
Post your results and get some runs on the board and get us in limelight.
I'm new to the rules, but i didn't think I could post up results unless we had two team members sailing?
Welcome aboard Des!
You can post as often as you like, and there is never any penalty for posting.
The "two people posting" means that your team doesn't get a score unless at least two team members post on the same day. This shouldn't stop you bragging about having an awesome session though!
The challenge site has become a sort of 'blog' for sailors to write about their session - good, bad or indifferent. The scoring is sort of secondary for some people... (but for others it's the main reason they post!).
All good fun ![]()
Its good to post every session. When you go to your own personal stats you can see how many sessions you've had in the past and total distance.
Nah, sat around waiting 4 wind for about 2 hours, but it didn't happen![]()
Mind you I think I just about have a new recruit for the team. Can you send me one of your flyers.
Dave, a guy that sails regularly at botany just got his GPS, and I know he's the competitive type cause we spent about an hour talking about our motor racing days.
