Sitting here on Maui wishing I was there. Crazy huh?

Hope it's a good one for all.

Sam.

just got a message from Spotty. Mentioned 48 peaks and 47.74 10 sec..... A few casualties. Sounds like a new GPS world record. Can't wait to hear how Slowie went..... myreign is over.

It was pretty good the sun even came out and the tide held. Wind was good but not really nuking like the big day in '09.

Crunching data now could be a new 10sec record......maybe only just though we are dealing with 0.163 correction factors and blah blah I'm leaving it to the experts to resolve.

Still doesn't come close to my ~ 49 10sec in Sept 2009 had 2 Gps's just one was not up with the rules at the time.

Damage today at the Pit broken nose, smashed eyebrow blackeye, get well Pete! Me a broken harness line.

Stay tuned

Patience young Jedi!!! theres been a disturbance in the Force and these things take time.
What with visits to hospitals for some and trips home long or diverted I'm glad we all survived, my times are posted now and await clarification of any official records or PB's.

The corrected data that Daffy processed for my sessions best 10 sec is 47.587, so not much more than yours Tony, more happy about the 47.1 5x10 though. Just needed more wind to really get things wound up, 2011 5.0 Koncept was super smooth with both the 21.5 and 23 Ka asym' fins doing 48 knots.

Sam I'd stay in Maui, the sun was out for a change here but the water was icy cold and there is nothing to look at except cows and grass.

cheers

Yeehaaar! PB double for me. So close to a 44knot 5 x 10 at 43.969.

Sam it was good, but you always miss what you don't have mate, and this includes an effective zero degrees celsius air temp. Brrrrrrr! Wish I was in Maui!
